“There Will Be Blood” is two hours and thirty-eight minutes of beautiful photography and an amazing story, if you can stay awake and alert to appreciate the film. There are unforgettable performances, and an enjoyable and detailed history of our young American oil industry.

Daniel Plainview is an oil man and that’s

All he truly cares about, oil and his boy. He’s vicious yet likeable, an interesting character to observe. Successful all on his own, he soon would become the most powerful oil man in the U.S., with the help of an odd young man, Paul Sunday. However, there’s more to this young prophet than Plainviewanticipates.

“There Will Be Blood” is a great film. It’s a long one and the seating at the
Huntington Cinema Arts is no comparison to the luxury of the UA Westbury however, they only play the best films. No Spears and Timberlake flix! If “Gangs of New York” is in your top ten then this is a must see.
