“Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer” is literally a fantastic
movie. It did not receive good reviews however, the film included
cool special effects, similar style & quality acting as Spiderman,
funny, clever with a descent plot. Most of the CG is flawless and
quite amazing specifically from the Silver Surfer. Sue & Johnny
Storm were stand out charming and funny, as well as Ben Grimm.
The sequel is focused around
the upcoming wedding of Sue
Storm and Reed Richards.
coincidentally, the ceremony
is interrupted by having to save
the world again, for themselves
and the inconsiderate U.S. Army
& civilians. Furthermore, the
world has been devastated by
massive power outages, cold
weather huge craters; and UFO
sightings. Then the Silver Surfer
appears, stoic and powerful. The
Fantastic Four must team up to
stop the mystery surfer before
he destroys the planet. That’s
new!
“Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer” is entertaining despite
it’s typical plot. Awesome action scenes, humorous dialogues, and a
charming cast make the sequel as good as the original. It definitely
beats out Spiderman 3 and will potentially be the top Comic Book
movie of the year. The UA Kaufman theatre in Astoria is comfortable
and clean with a great staff. I really enjoyed this film.
4 Stars -- Best Comic Book Movie So Far This
Year.
