-Go to the movies: Definitely for the greater impact

-Rating: R

-Buy the DVD: Maybe, not uplifting

“The Kingdom” was intense and timely given the plot of terrorism in Saudi Arabia. This drama clearly depicts the view points of Americans from the Arab P.O.V. and Arabs from our P.O.V. It makes a dramatic and much needed statement at the end, which is the primary reason I recommend it.

The plot takes place on an
American compound in Saudi Arabia, present time. Ronald Fleury and his team of FBI special agents are sent
immediately to investigate a bombing that killed hundereds within the high security  facility. The team is faced
with volitale Saudi police, Saudi politics, and an invincible  terrorist group lead by Abu Hamza.  The fanatical ghost responsible for the bombing.

“The Kingdom” is a great drama with a message. If you enjoyed “Crash” then you will absolutely enjoy this movie. Intense and constant action, solid acting, and a true depiction of communities in the middle-east.

4 Stars -- Must see in the theatre to get the full impact.
