Opportunity..
Opportunity is a funny thing. In its purest form it is nothing at all like any
thing else in this world…It comes and goes like the weather, it desires to be
taken advantage of…it needs to be cultivated…it can be left behind and abandoned
without intention…it can cause stress, loss and regret if ignored
When you see an opportunity, don’t let it pass you by. When you want an
opportunity, work hard to manifest it and make it happen. Opportunity comes and
goes, but ultimately it is up to us to either take advantage of it or actually
create it.
There are two types of opportunities. The first is one that is bestowed upon us
as a mere blessing of circumstances. It is up to us to take advantage of it and
determine if it is the right one for us. The second is one that we must create
for ourselves in order to accomplish a goal that we set before ourselves. We
have to make a plan, follow the steps that we set, and literally create the
opportunity that we want through our own labor. Whichever type of opportunity it
is, it is ultimately up to us to make a decision concerning that opportunity
that is before us and actually make something from it.
Traveling abroad to a different country last week really opened my eyes to the
availability and intensity of the opportunity potential that we have in this
country. There was really no opportunity be it circumstantial or creative
available to the citizens of the country that I visited where the 1 US dollar is
equal to 64 of their dollars. This experience really opened my eyes to the
abounding opportunities that we are able to create and take hold for
ourselves…Take advantage of any and all opportunities that either come your way
or opportunities that you want to create.
Here is to opportunity…
have
the courage to question & challenge the status quo... refuse to
accept "traditional" thinking and answers as fact....
