Just as I told you in previous articles, as any other
experienced soldier will tell you, the enemies of peace and
democracy come from all walks of life.
Another terrorist plot was uncovered in England recently. Six
physicians are among eight suspects in the failed terror
attacks, including one from Iraq, one from Jordan, two from
India and a man identified by hospital staff as being from
Lebanon. When I was caring for detainees at Abu Ghraib I
certainly had a share of doctors, teachers, lawyers, and even
holy men under my care. These men do not distinguish between
military and civilian when they seek to bring carnage and death.
So it figures that terrorists and insurgents (or whatever
liberals want to pacify them as) are both of professional and
unprofessional backgrounds. Al-Qaida's No. 2 leader, Ayman al-Zawahri,
is a trained physician. Ask yourselves, Long Island, is he more
qualified to save a life or to take a life?
Insurgent groups show how much the United States is hated by the
world. This hatred stems from jealousy. Through their spite they
underestimate our strengths. Their groups are as diversified as
our people but their common petty, jealous mindset hurls them
back thousands of years. When they are not trying to attack
democracy they are busy destroying their own. Remember to keep
our soldiers in prayer. If it was not for them these terrorists
might have taken us down with them by now.
